"Plain Elegance" by Basilika

Plain Elegance

This lovely hand winding model appears delicately and lightly as a ballerina. The shape and size of the case was designed in accordance with the traditional style by "Poljot-International" - also known as "Basilika". Not coincidentally it‘s called "Plain Elegance".
Everything of this watch is subordinated under this motto: the case, the dial, the hands and the strap. Without any unnecessary decoration it “plays to the gallery” showing its elegant hour and minutes marks and the fine dial, also available in Mother-Of-Pearl version. The hands are made in classic shape and traditionally gold or chrome plated. Even the leather straps in both classic and feminine colours such as beige, light blue or pink, serve only one purpose - to be elegant and kept within the bounds.

The designer succeeded in providing the owner of this watch an elation when looking at the harmonic overall picture created by the interaction of the different components. Herewith, the tradition to produce classical and elegant mechanical watches could be kept.

Only a very flat movement is matching for this model, and the manufacturer found it: the Vostok calibre 2409. with only 3,95 mm of height, even though the date indicator had to be left out. In return for it the heart of the movement, the balance wheel, can be watched through a special glass window in the steel case back.

The price is fairly kept at a very competitive level: RM1660. Basilika is exclusively available at Red Army Watces Boutiques – Pavilion KL, Tropicana City Mall and One Utama.
